Be fucking still my beating heart! LOVE LOVE LOVE. It's the London Critics Circle, and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel gets one minor tied nomination. Silver Linings Playbook, also one. Les Mis, only four, and not in either of the top two. Amour, Life of Pi, Once Upon a Time in Anatolia, Berberian Sound Studio, Holy Motors, The Hunt, Tabu, all doing very well. HOORAY FOR THE LCC!!! Winners will be announced in their ceremony on the 20th of January. Over a month away! How do I wait that long?!?
Never could understand the appeal of BEASTS! Yes I know many adore it. i found it scattered and emotionally distancing. Fair enough picks by the Londoners though.

Yeah, I wasn't bowled over by Beasts, although I liked it very much. I only hope that I wasn't responding to the hype, as I didn't see it until months after its US release, never mind its Sundance release.
