Two cinematography nominations in one day for Anna Karenina - a sign that it could make it in with Oscar too? Some big contenders to get past: Django Unchained (they love Robert Richardson there), The Master, Zero Dark Thirty. The other four all look quite safe, although this is a rather unpredictable category this year, and both of the major cinematography precursors (although the BAFTAs don't often have much clout) have announced post-ballot deadline this year. Nice picks overall, though. Skyfall, Anna Karenina and Life of Pi are particularly beautifully photographed films. Winners will be released on the 10th of February, also the same day as the BAFTAs.
