I'm so over superhero movies, and I've never much liked that limp-dick excuse for a superhero, Superman, but the Man of Steel marketing team aren't doing a bad job of selling this. I don't trust Zack Snyder, even though I liked Watchmen and didn't mind 300, and I'm sick of these superhero villains being pushed for Oscar (I get that the whole Ben Kingsley in Iron Man 3 thing was a red herring, but the whole Benedict Cumberbatch thing in Star Trek Into Darkness thing was embarrassing), even though I hope Michael Shannon gets one asap. For me, the first trailer was The Dark Knight, and this one is The Avengers.
