Based on Arkadiy and Boris Strugatskiy's 1963 sci-fi novel, Russian director Aleksey German's final film, Hard to Be a God is well on its way to being ready for release. German died in February, and his son, Aleksey Jr., has been working on preparing the film. It could be released as soon as this Autumn in German's native Russia.
