75 NEW TITLES ADDED TO TORONTO LINEUP


Oh how I wish I was going to TIFF. 75 films have just been added to their slate, bringing the current total of films screening at the festival to over 200, and more are planned for next week. Films from Hayao Miyazaki, Danis Tanovis, Menno Meyjes (he adapted The Colour Purple), Robin Campillo, Johnnie To, James Franco, Gotz Spielmann, Corneliu Porumboiu, Guillaume Canet, Clio Barnard, John Turturro, Kevin MacDonald, Patrice Leconte, Alex Gibney, Dexter Fletcher and Fred Schepisi appear on the new list, alongside Sean Durkin's miniseries Southcliffe, which is airing on British TV at the moment and is terrific, and Alain Guiraudie's Cannes favourite Stranger by the Lake.
