Michael Fassbender will play Macbeth in the upcoming adaptation of Shakespeare's 'Scottish Play', to be directed by Justin Kurzel, who impressed many with his disturbing debut Snowtown. Natalie Portman (decent choice) was formerly attached to play Lady Macbeth; she has now been replaced by Marion Cotillard (brilliant choice). If Marion doesn't get an Oscar nomination for this film, which is scheduled to shoot early next year in the UK, I'll be pissed off. I already know that. I'm still pissed off that they didn't nominate her for Rust and Bone.
