Fabulously late. The Conformist is one of the best films I've seen, but I haven't seen very many films. Still, it's a very good film. Cinematography by the peerless Vittorio Storaro, sumptuous production design by Ferdinando Scarfiotti, delectable costumes by Gitt Magrini - all frequent collaborators of the great director Bernardo Bertolucci, and it's not hard to see why he kept hiring them.
