I just found out via Awards Daily (duh, where else do I find anything out?!) that Amat Escalante's Heli will be Mexico's official Foreign Language Film submission for this year's Oscars. The film won the Best Director prize at Cannes, and I know Nicole Kidman wouldn't have let that go to just anybody, so that's a good sign, right? Hmm... I wasn't such a fan of Escalante's Bastards, so we'll wait to see... I posted another clip on this post, and there's one below.
