VENICE AND TELLURIDE REVIEWS CONTINUE WITH KILL YOUR DARLINGS, MOEBIUS

You wanna know what Kim Ki Duk's Moebius is about? Don't read the reviews! You wanna see Kim Ki Duk's Moebius? You wanna know what it's about! And, according to critics, this latest from last year's Golden Lion recipient ain't half bad. 'Gloriously off-the-charts' writes Leslie Felperin in Variety, 'one of the most powerful experiences of the year' Pierce Conran at TwitchFilm, 'repulsively funny' Robbie Collin in The Telegraph, 'a sly dark comedy that doubles as a very impressive display of wordless storytelling' Oliver Lyttleton in The Playlist, but it's branded a 'stop-gap half-baked offering in between [Kim's] artistic landmarks' by Clarence Tsui in The Hollywood Reporter.

The trailer for Kill Your Darlings wasn't much good; the reviews so far out of Venice aren't either. Three stars from Robbie Collin again (out of five), but just two from CineVue's John Bleasdale. At Telluride, The Galapagos Affair: Satan Comes to Eden doesn't fare much better, with both Variety's Peter Debruge and Thompson on Hollywood's Meredith Brody (in her blog) taking umbrage with the documentary's excessive length.
