YET MORE TIFF REVIEWS!

The ever genre-hopping Bertrand Tavernier turns to comedy with Quai d'Orsay, and to apparently good effect. Todd McCarthy calls it 'one of his most buoyant films' in The Hollywood Reporter, while Scott Foundas joins him in praising Thierry Lhermitte's lead performance in Variety. Another French pic in Robin Campillo's Eastern Boys, which gets a great write-up from Variety's Guy Lodge.

Jeffrey Jeturian's The Bit Player is reviewed in Variety by Richard Kuipers, and he gives a good report on the 'appealing dramedy'. There are differing opinions, though, on A Random Desi Romance, from Maneesh Sharma. Variety's David Chute is complimentary, but Lisa Tsering describes the film as 'bland' in The Hollywood Reporter.
