12 YEARS A SLAVE WINS AT DALLAS-FORT WORTH FILM CRITICS ASSOCIATION


Wouldn't you have known that Dallas Buyers Club would be a big hit with the Dallas-Fort Worth Film Critics Association? It wins for both its lead actors, Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto, and comes fifth in their Top 10 of the year. But it's 12 Years a Slave, as usual, which fares strongest, though Alfonso Cuaron bags the Best Director trophy, as has been a recurring feature among several critic groups to have given Best Picture to 12 Years.
