2014 HONORARY BERLIN GOLDEN BEAR TO KEN LOACH

I'll be so very upset if Jimmy's Hall is, indeed, set to be Ken Loach's final film as director. He's one of the best ones. And the organisers of the Berlin International Film Festival seem to agree, as he'll be the recipient of an Honorary Golden Bear when their 64th festival runs from the 6th to the 16th of February next year. Loach has won seven awards from Berlin over the years, with his features Ladybird Ladybird and Ae Fond Kiss... having previously played in competition.
