AUSTIN FILM CRITICS ASSOCIATION SHARE WINNINGS BETWEEN HER, GRAVITY AND 12 YEARS


The Austin Film Critics Association, you may be aware, considers itself a bit of a band of renegades among the American critic community! Well, it seems they're not. Her wins Best Picture, 12 Years a Slave places second, and Gravity third, and it also wins Best Director. Brie Larson wins a couple of awards - I just knew she was gonna get a fair bit of attention from voters this season for Short Term 12. The Austin Film Award was decided upon from a selection of nominees, which you can find here.
