ONLINE FILM CRITICS SOCIETY NOMINATIONS SHOW EVERYBODY ELSE UP

I never thought I'd see the day that a major awards body would nominate Steve McQueen and Hayao Miyazaki in the same year. Add to that a generous helping of Blue Is the Warmest Colour, Drug War for Best Editing, The Act of Killing and At Berkeley for Best Documentary, From Up on Poppy Hill for Best Animated Feature (guess what's gonna win that one), Mads Mikkelsen, Sam Rockwell and Sally Hawkins for acting nominations, Museum Hours - yes, MUSEUM HOURS!! - for two awards (though Best Film Not in the English Language is an odd choice for a film almost entirely in the english language) and The Wind Rises for five major awards. Clearly, this lot have seen some fucking films this year, and they're gonna tell us all about it. Preach it, OFCS! Winners in a week, on Monday the 16th of December.
