AMERICAN SOCIETY OF CINEMATOGRAPHERS NOMINATE SEVEN FILMS

In what must have been a tie (probably for fifth place, hardly a seven-way tie), the ASC has nominated seven features for its annual cinematography award for motion pictures. And even with such a wealth of selection in this lineup, still there are notable omissions: Anthony Dod Mantle for Rush and Hoyte van Hoytema for Her. Winners will be announced in their ceremony on the 1st of February.

Best Cinematography
Barry Ackroyd (Captain Phillips)
Sean Bobbitt (12 Years a Slave)
Roger Deakins (Prisoners)
Bruno Delbonnel (Inside Llewyn Davis)
Philippe Le Sourd (The Grandmaster)
Emmanuel Lubezki (Gravity)
Phedon Papamichael (Nebraska)
