The only director to have won both the main competition Palme d'Or and the Short Film Palme d'Or at Cannes, and the only female director to have won the Palme as well, Jane Campion will serve as president of the Cannes jury this May. She has previously screened three films in the main comp, most recently 2009's Bright Star. Since then, she was behind the excellent TV mini-series Top of the Lake. I'm expecting extremely well-considered decisions from her jury, since artistically at least, she's a woman of terrific taste.
