Out of Abdellatif Kechiche's five films to date, I've only seen two... and they're his two most recent #shameonme. Anyway, get this for a potentially fiery shoot: the current holder of the Palme d'Or will work with Gerard Depardieu in his upcoming film The Real Wound. Neither are known for being the most temperate of artists, so watch out for real wounds on set indeed. The script has been adapted from Francois Begaudeau's book La Blessure, La Vraie, so there's real Cannes cred here: a Palme recipient, a Best Actor recipient, and the star of and source writer of 2008 Palme d'Or winner The Class in Begaudeau. Production should begin this August.
