You'll always make a few enemies among the critical community when you make a film about a man abusing his daughter for many years, but Keren Yedaya may be losing a few friends with That Lovely Girl, or Loin de Mon Pere. The Israeli director's films have never been particularly lighthearted, but this one reportedly takes the biscuit for bitter bleakness.
