This might look, to you (and to me) to be just another Taken rip-off, only with Liam Neeson in the lead again. In fact, this is the first adaptation of a novel featuring the character Matt Scudder, a New York private investigator created by crime fiction writer Lawrence Block. This project has been around for a number of years, with Oscar-nominated Out of Sight screenwriter Scott Frank helming his own screenplay in this dark thriller, to be released in the UK and the US on the 19th of September.
