The last thing we heard from Ron Howard was that he'd be directing another Dan Brown adaptation with Tom Hanks, Inferno. Currently scheduled for a Christmas-time release next year, that project appears to be somewhat on the back burner, as Howard is now attached to something else: a documentary about The Beatles. His Made in America documentary may not have been making many waves since it premiered last year at TIFF, but Imagine Entertainment has entered into a deal with Apple Records and White Horse Pictures to make an authorised account of the band's touring phase nonetheless. I'll have more word on this project as it progresses.
