At age 63, one of the most popular actors and comedians of the modern era has died. Robin Williams, the Oscar-winning star of Aladdin, Good Morning Vietnam, Dead Poets Society and TV's Mork & Mindy was found hanged today, the 12th of August 2014. A figure of enormous influence and popularity in cinema through the 1980s and '90s, Williams was famed for his ability to improvise and for his impeccable comic timing. With his supreme intelligence and wit, he became one of the most respected screen actors and stage comics in the business. He finally succumbed to depression after a long battle with the illness. He is survived by his third wife, Susan Schneider, and his three children, and will be missed by film lovers the world over.
