TORONTO REPORT: THE DROP

Attention is on Michael R. Roskam's The Drop at the Toronto International Film Festival, not only due to the script by Dennis Lehane and the presence of an all-star cast, but also due to the key supporting performance from the late James Gandolfini, in his final role. Gandolfini and lead Tom Hardy have both received praise from critics, though the film has had a somewhat tougher time.
