TORONTO REPORT: STILL ALICE

Brilliant reviews for Julianne Moore in Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland's Still Alice out of the Toronto International Film Festival. Glatzer and Westmoreland's film was being considered as a 2015 awards contender for Moore, but the strong reaction to the film has shifted it into this year's awards race, which will see Moore compete against herself in David Cronenberg's Maps to the Stars, for which she won the Best Actress award in Cannes. Here are reviews from Gregory Ellwood at In Contention, Deborah Young at The Hollywood Reporter, Kevin Noonan at Variety, Catherine Shoard at The Guardian and Tim Robey at The Telegraph.
