As much as I was getting into this second trailer for Ridley Scott's Exodus: Gods and Kings more than the first one, the prospect of another climactic beach battle brought back bad memories of Robin Hood. So no matter that this looks notably superior, cos there's that reminder that Scott's entirely capable of turning out serious dreck with serious potential. Out in the US on the 12th and in the UK on the 26th of December.
