Having seen this trailer for Listen Up Philip, I finally get what all the buzz is about. I might yet despise the film, but at least I'm now looking forward to it, rather than wondering why such a seemingly-average American indie is receiving such rave responses, as illustrated in the trailer. Out in the US on the 17th of October, and there'll be a VOD bow too for those of us too stingy to catch a flight across the Atlantic just to see a fucking movie.
