The Santa Barbara International Film Festival's American Riviera award is traditionally awarded to... fuck knows, actually, it's the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, and all they care about is seeing Oscar-nominated stars on their stage. This year, Patricia Arquette and Ethan Hawke will become the first duo to accept the honour together, for their performances in Richard Linklater's Boyhood and for their careers both on and off screen. The festival is set to run from the 27th of January, encompassing the presentation of the American Riviera award on the 5th of February, to the 7th of Feb.
