'Searing' and 'intense' - two terms that have showed up more than once in reviews out of Cannes for Jacques Audiard's Dheepan. The thriller involves a Tamil Tiger seeking asylum in France, granted a new identity and a new family upon arrival. While not quite at the level of acclaim received by Audiard's A Prophet six years ago, the film is yet another critical darling from the French filmmaker.
