Amid fairly well-founded accusations that The Weinstein Company has gone a little limp on promoting their Cannes contender Macbeth for the Oscars after a reception on the Croisette that was a tad less exultant than had been hoped for, they go and stick the official U.S. trailer for the Shakespeare adaptation online. Justin Kurzel's film arrives in American theatres on the 4th of December, in limited release, and in British theatres over two months earlier, on the 2nd of October - a month today.
