War Witch director Kim Nguyen travelled to the other end of the earth from his native Canada for his last, breakout, Oscar-nominated feature. He's back to more familiar, though no less striking, terrain with Two Lovers and a Bear, which premiered to decent reviews in Directors' Fortnight at Cannes in May.
