Despite altogether disliking Antonio Campos' last film Simon Killer, my interest in this filmmaker's career has been reignited by the positive buzz around his new project, Christine. Strong reviews on the festival circuit since its Sundance premiere in January, bookings at major festivals since then such as TIFF and LFF, and now this smart trailer have certainly grabbed my attention, not least for the high praise offered to lead Rebecca Hall, playing TV news anchor Christine Chubbuck. Out in the US on the 14th of October.
