Moonlight's roll through the early stage of awards season continues, utterly undisturbed here by La La Land, due to the Toronto Film Critics Association's considerable preference for several other offerings. Toni Erdmann puts up a very strong showing with the TFCA too, winning three prizes. We'll have to wait until the 10th of January to find out the winners of the Best Canadian Film award, when they're revealed during the gala ceremony.
