BRITISH INDEPENDENT FILM AWARDS

The British Independent Film Awards were held yesterday evening, and the wins were spread pretty evenly across the board. Last year, they threw their weight behind The King's Speech, so it seems they've changed track quite noticeably with this year's choices. It's doubtable that The King's Speech's success at BIFA had much effect on the race one way or another, so it's unlikely that BIFA will make a big impact this year either. Then again, this is precisely the kind of support which smaller contenders like Tyrannoasaur may need, so don't write this lot off just yet.
