An impressive haul for Les Miserables, with 12 nominations, and for Beasts of the Southern Wild, whose Quvenzhane Wallis is nominated in three separate categories. And isn't it extraordinary that Life of Pi's Best Picture nomination here is its first this season from the critics' groups? Skyfall also turns up in quite a few categories, including Best Picture, Supporting Actor and Supporting Actress, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower advances further - is it becoming a genuine contender in some major categories? Winners will be announced in one week, on Tuesday 18th.
Well, these nominations are more all-encompassing than Detroit, but nothing here that's eye-opening. Looks like they really like LES MIS.

They're sure all-encompassing! Took me bloody ages to type this all up! I added in a lot of the named credits - most of their categories stipulated only the nominated films, not the people nominated in each case.
