SCARLETT JOHANSSON TO MAKE DIRECTORIAL DEBUT WITH SUMMER CROSSING

Shooting is set to begin next year on Scarlett Johansson's directorial debut, an adaptation of Truman Capote's Summer Crossing. It was Capote's first novel, although he threw it away and it remained unpublished until it resurfaced at an auction in 2004, whereupon it was published. Johansson herself has been working on bringing the project to the screen for several years, thus adding another string to the actor-singer's bow.
