84-year-old cinematographer Vadim Yusov has died. The Russian director of photography was a sometime collaborator of Andrei Tarkovsky, as they collaborated on films such as Andrei Rublev and Solaris, creating arguably some of the most memorable and iconic imagery in film history. His work on The Black Monk earned him the Golden Osella at the 1988 Venice Film Festival.
