SUPPORT FOR 12 YEARS AND WOLF AT BOSTON SOCIETY OF FILM CRITICS

BSFC member Ty Burr was concerned that the absence of many fellow members at the recent The Wolf of Wall Street screening might affect its chances with the group's awards, which were voted on today. Perhaps it did, though perhaps it didn't, since Scorsese's film made five appearances today, but all five were runner-up citations. Instead, 12 Years a Slave dominated, winning three awards including their top two. And Enough Said picked up two awards also.
