I thought Gareth Edwards' Monsters was very good. I thought the early trailers (and, to a lesser extent, the more recent ones, though more explicit previews don't tend to pack the same atmospheric punch) for Godzilla were very good. I think the cast looks very good. Not all the critics who have so far seen and reported on the film, which hits theatres in a mere few days, opine that it actually is very good...
