UN CERTAIN REGARD AND CAMERA D'OR CANNES JURIES ANNOUNCED

The Camera d'Or is a prize handed out at Cannes to the best film by a debut filmmaker, and is selected from the competition lineup as well as Critics' Week and Directors' Fortnight slates. The other major feature-length sidebar is Un Certain Regard, commonly seen as second fiddle to the main competition's first. That jury will be led by former Palme d'Or winner Jane Campion, and we already knew that the Camera d'Or would be chosen by a jury with Nicole Garcia at the helm. That jury has now been announced in full, alongside the Un Certain Regard jury, with Pablo Trapero as head juror. Trapero has competed for the Palme once before, and Garcia twice; Critics' Week jury chair Andrea Arnold has competed twice as well.
