Forty years after the anniversary of the inception of punk band The Ramones, plans have been announced for a pretty major year of tributes to the band, on the 40th anniversary year of their first record: 2016. Among those plans is a fictionalised tale of the band, set to be directed by Martin Scorsese. It'll be a quick turnaround for the director, whose Silence ought to be released next year; the new project doesn't yet have a writer either.
