After the monumental Margaret debacle, Gigi Pritzker's OddLot Entertainment has done what few other independent production companies would likely be willing to do, and has reached late stages in discussions toward financing a new Kenneth Lonergan movie. Manchester-by-the-Sea is hardly likely to set the box office alight, but with Margaret star Matt Damon on board to play the lead, this could prove to replicate the success of Lonergan's 2000 debut, You Can Count on Me. Unless it turns out to be 3 days long and gets held up for half the fucking century, and let's not act like that's not a possibility...
