Measured responses out of TIFF for Philippe Falardeau's The Good Lie, which may have pleased general audience members but has had a slightly tougher time with critics. The Reese Witherspoon vehicle has been seen and reviewed by Peter Debruge at Variety, Kevin Jagernauth at The Playlist and Leslie Felperin at The Hollywood Reporter.
