A first look at Paper Planes, a rather uninspiring-seeming family drama from Australia, which received a few festival screenings lately but won't get any theatrical releases until early 2015 at the soonest, when it's been confirmed for releases on the 15th of January in Australia and New Zealand. It bears rather too close a resemblance to Kim Mordaunt's The Rocket, a popular film also, officially, from Australia, and also pretty uninspiring. How rude of me to write this one off already. But how right, n'est-ce pas?
