Elad Keidan's Afterthought has been just that for many Cannes attendees this week - the Special Screening has taken its time finding an audience over the past few days. Those who have found the film have found in it a rewarding watch, though hardly the kind of standout that one might hope for in a Special Screening at arguably the most 'special' film festival in the world.
