Who knows what Thierry Fremaux saw when he exiled Cemetery of Splendour, Weerasethakul's latest, to Un Certain Regard at Cannes 2015, where the film screens on Monday for its official premiere. It looks intriguing, according to the above trailer. Keep an eye out for international theatrical releases, because they're likely to be few and far between, and the film is likely to be as big a work of art as you'll see in a theatre this year.
