Much as I stand in solidarity with any group that promotes equality, and support the existence of a Women Film Critics Circle, I've countless issues with this bunch. The fact that categories appear out of nowhere when they announce their awards, categories that weren't in their nominations; that they haven't updated their website in two years; that they have a narrow purview on film and fairly shitty taste in it; that they waste whatever credibility they may have had the potential to possess on needless categories like 'Worst Male Images in a Movie', categories which are normally filled with selections that betray a lack of adequate analytical skills.
