OSCAR VISUAL EFFECTS CATEGORY: THE TOP TEN ANNOUNCED

The final branch of the Academy to whittle down its contenders for next month's nominations, among those branches that do so, is the visual effects crowd. They've declared their top ten achievements in effects work for the year, each of which will participate in a bake-off for votes before the final five is announced. Nominations will be declared on the 14th of January. Have a look:
