After Quentin Tarantino threw a tantrum when his working script for The Hateful Eight was leaked online, he staged a read-through for select invitees. That was well received, and he now seems to have cooled down and decided to move ahead with filming the Western, which he had intended as his follow-up to Django Unchained, for which he won his second Oscar. Django wasn't a bad film, it just wasn't a great one either, and we know what Tarantino is capable of. Not that I'm pissed that he keeps returning to shlock pastiche - I still love both Kill Bill films. Just that this current phase of his career seems more stunt than sincerity. Anyway, 2015, apparently.
