Jeremy Saulnier's follow-up to his breakthrough Blue Ruin, which also screened in Cannes to strong reviews, is being described as 'ultra-violent' with 'jaw-dropping gore'. Green Room is the story of a confrontation between a young punk rock band and the backwater white supremacists whom they're gigging for. Word is not only that the film is very gory but that it is also very good, perhaps as good as Blue Ruin!
