DIRECTORS GUILD OF AMERICA

It's a pretty fucking big award, but just a short post. Michel Hazanavicius wins for The Artist in the main category, and James Marsh wins for Project Nim in the documentary category. Boring, I know. Now Scorsese's chances at a second Oscar look even slimmer, although it's still not entirely out of the question. After all, we now know just how much the Academy is willing to detach from the guilds' choices this year...
