As the critical response to Les Mis continues to underwhelm, the Washington D.C. Area film critics offer up some hope to fans of the musical that it has the potential to still perform well with the critics groups, whose influence may be stronger this year than ever before, with the earlier voting dates for Oscar. Life of Pi continues its decline, while The Master oddly misses out on a Best Film nomination despite seven nominations in other categories. Winners will be announced tomorrow, and Zero Dark Thirty is surely expected to win.
